Sami Bechahed Wins Event #4: $400 NLH 8-Max
Sami Bechahed prevailed in a heads-up match against Rayo Kniep for first place and his third ring in Event #4: $400 NLH 8-Max.
Bechahed took home $10,850 for his victory. For him, though, the ring means more than the money.
"It's more for the ring than the money," said Bechahed. "I'm chasing those rings, but I don't have as much time to play as they do."
Understandably so, as he has some major life events that are taking up his time.
"I have a baby on the way," he said. "And we just bought a house. I just came this morning to stay the whole week. Let's win one more, that'd be cool."
Bechahed was the shortest stack short-handed, but that didn't phase him.
"ICM was never a consideration, I never felt any pressure," he said. "What I wanted was first place."
He got what he came for, another WSOP Circuit ring added to his collection. Congratulations to Sami Bechahed on his victory, his baby on the way, and his third Circuit ring!
