With a massive prizepool of $601,455 having been built over two days of registration, the second day of the WSOPC $1,700 Main Event at Tulsa Hard Rock returns at noon. From a starting field of 397 players to only 64, with 60 spots guaranteed $2,550, and a first place prize worth $126,900.

Leading the way was the man who held the chip lead all day in his flight, Tomas Teran. Teran saw a massive pot early in the day catapult him to the lead which he held for nearly 6 full levels at the same stack. With $146,428 in live earnings, Teran has seen several close calls with his chances for a ring. With the monster stack he bagged today, his high hopes may come true within the next two days.

A strong contingent of this week’s ring winners made it into the day as well.Wesley Jones (468,000), Brent Gregory (415,000), Timothy T.J. Cunningham (224,000), Jared Ward (177,000), and Richard Gebhart (30,000) all found chips at the end of their respective flights. They join the other hopefuls who will come back tomorrow just a few spots off of the money.

Players ended with 8:02 left in Level 14 in Day 1b, meaning that players will return tomorrow with that much time left in level 14, only four players off the money.
