EVENT UPDATE

Five Will Battle For Tulsa Main Event Crown and $145,876

 Kasey Mills

At 12 noon the five remaining players in the Tulsa Main Event will commence their battle for the ring and for the $145,876 grand prize.

Leading the way to start the day with about 66 big blinds is a familiar face to the Tulsa poker scene in Eric Bunch. From right here in Tulsa, Bunch will be going for his second career circuit ring as he won his first one in July of 2022 in Choctaw. He has over 1.2 million in career poker earnings.

Second in chips is Richard Gebhart with 44 big blinds. Gebhart is from right across the border in Arkansas and is going for his second ring of this series. He won Event #5: Monster Stack last Monday for just over $23,000.

Brandon Elmore of Raymore, MO is third in chips with 28 big blinds. He has already secured the largest cash of his poker career, with his previous best being for close to $12,000.

Kelsey Mills starts the day fourth in chips with 21 big blinds. Another Tulsa local, she has just over $100,000 in career earnings and is aiming for her first ring after she had a second place finish to barely miss out on winning one in Choctaw in January.

John Lopez begins as the short stack with 18 big blinds. Lopez is from Springfield, MO and is looking for his first bigtime score as he has about $27,000 in career earnings.

Play will start at Level 27 with blinds as 40,000/80,000/80,000 and will continue all the way down to a winner.

Coverage from WSOP.com will be in depth with hands today so keep it locked here to see who comes out on top in Tulsa.
