Peluso Chasing Second Bracelet as 61 Players Move On to Day 2

The 2022 World Series of Poker Europe Event #5: €550 No-Limit Hold'em Colossus is through three of its six flights here at King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.
A total of 589 entries were submitted but only 61 joined the 33 players who qualified from Day 1a and the 34 who made it from last night's Day 1b.
Sitting atop the leaderboard is Idannhe Chorianopoulos, who bagged an impressive 609,000.
Rounding out the top-five in the flight are: Julien Sitbon (567,000), Riadh Ben Farhat (537,000), Albert Hernandez (506,000), and Patrik Zidek (415,000).
Newly-crowned WSOP champion Fabio Peluso is in sixth place after bagging 400,000 himself.
Two-time WSOP bracelet winner and top-100 all-time money list earner Manig Loeser earned his 95th career WSOP cash and will take 249,000 into Day 2.
Amongst those who tried but failed to bag for Day 2 include Allen Kessler, Do Chung Tran, Shaun Deeb, Emil Bise, Linda van de Ree, Jason Wheeler, and Stefan Drusca,
There will be three more starting flights, with the Day 1d turbo flight already in progress with late registration still open. Saturday will provide an 11 a.m. flight with 18 30-minute levels and the final 7 p.m. flight with 18 20-minute turbo levels. All flights will play 18 levels with the top 15% of players making the money.
