The second and final day one flight of the Thunder Valley WSOP Circuit series Main Event begins today at 11 AM.
The first flight of the Thunder Valley Main Event saw the biggest Flight A entry total in Thunder Valley circuit history, with a staggering total of 290 players. Flight B of the Main Event will surely beat that number, creating a chance to make this the largest Main Event in Thunder Valley history.
There were some players of note out of the 61 poker players who bagged chips for day two, including 2021 Thunder Valley Main Circuit Event Champion Victor Paredes (91,000), Rayo Kniep (326,500), and Lian Liu (139,000). Jonathan Colet sits at the top of the Flight A standings, bagging a total of 409,500 chips.
For the second season, there will be a Tournament of Champions after the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas in July 2023. All ring and bracelet winners will earn themselves a seat to partake in the $1 million freeroll with a gold bracelet being awarded to the winner.
The second flight of the Thunder Valley Circuit Main Event will have cards in the air at 11 AM. Players will start with a stack of 30,000 chips and the blinds at 100/100 with no big blind ante until level 2. Each player competing in Flight B is allowed one re-entry for the entirety of the flight, with registration remaining open until the start of Level 13. Flight B will play into the money with 15% of the field getting paid, and play will end once 10% of the field remains to move on to Day 2 tomorrow, October 9 at 11:00 AM. Day 3 is at 11 AM on Monday, October 10 and will play down to a winner.
