Day 3 Incoming - 16 Remain

Abraham Araya - 2011 WSOPC Choctaw Main Event Champ

Day 3 of Ring Event #9: $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event is incoming. The finale begins at 2:00 p.m. today with 16 players remaining. All eyes will be on the top honors of $336,412, a Circuit gold ring, seat to the Tournament of Champions, and of course a massive banner of the winner's photo to be hung on the balcony of the Choctaw Grand Theater.

Currently sitting in the best position to go the distance is Jessica Vierling who went on a heater during Day 2. Vierling sits with 8,735,000 in tournament chips. Her next closest opponent is Quan Tran with 7,205,000. Gold bracelet winner, and two-time gold ring winner, Brian Green enters Day 3 as the short stack with 720,000.

Another notable name still in the mix is three-time gold ring winner Abraham Araya. Araya is no stranger to the Choctaw feature stage as he won the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event here in January of 2011. In fact, the 54-year-old is striving for his third Choctaw Banner.

- Play resumes with Level 28: 40,000/80,000 with a 80,000 big blind ante
