Stanislav Angelov Bubbles at the Hands of Hamid Izadi
Hamid Izadi opens to 15,000 from middle position. Mike Fouts calls in the hijack. Dan Grossman calls in the cutoff. John Reiss folds on the button.
It is now on Stanislav Angelov, the small blind. Angelov moves all in. He puts in the 15,000, then follows up by pushing forward his three barrels of 1,000-denomination chips. Izadi asks how much.
The shove comes to 66,000. When Izadi gets the count he says "I'm all in," coming over the top. Fouts and Grossman quickly muck their cards. Action is held for the other tables to finish.
As they are waiting, Izadi tells Angelov. "I hope you win... If I want anyone to cash, it is you,"
"Thank you," replies Angelov.
It is time to reveal. Angelov tables . His pocket pair one ups Izadi who shows .
The board runs out . A heartbreaker for Angelov hits on the flop. Izadi spikes a set of jacks and Angelov is left at the Main Event bubble boy.
