David Brookshire Wins Omaha Hi-Lo

Mixed games specialist David Brookshire won the only non-hold'em ring of the WSOP Circuit series at the Bicycle Casino on Wednesday evening. The Baltimore native defeated Dale Phillips heads-up to win the $365 Omaha Hi-Lo.
This is Brookshire's first ring after just missing out on a ring in a HORSE event at a Circuit stop in 2011 at Harrah's Southern California. He bested a field of 92 entries and took home $8,285. Brookshire doesn't play much hold'em and makes his living playing mixed cash games and tournaments in Southern California and Las Vegas.
