Neil Scott Wins First Ever Circuit Ring Following 63 Career Cashes
The ending to Event #4 was a monumental one, with regular World Series of Poker Circuit grinder Neil Scott finally winning his first ring after a long string of cashes. Scott booked his 63rd career Circuit cash and snagged a win after defeating Chris Perkins in a quick heads-up match with a loud, supportive rail behind him.
The newly-crowned champion can finally cut his hair after a two-year "deal" that required a group of friends to leave their hair uncut until they won a ring. Scott explained that he was the only one who kept his end of the deal, and will now be donating his locks to charity to benefit kids with cancer.
Scott pocketed $12,798 for his win, while Perkins settled for $7,909 for his runner-up finish.
