Day 2 Gets Underway at 3 p.m.
Day 2 of Event #2 is set to get underway at 3 p.m. There are 13 players remaining including eight-time gold ring winner Valentin Vornicu. A victory for Vornicu would tie him with Alex Masek for the for the most gold rings won all-time. If Vornicu wants to win he will have to catch current chip leader, Kevin Vail.
The 13 players left are all guaranteed a minimum cash of $1,806. The eventual champion will score $29,371, a WSOP Circuit gold ring and 50 Casino Championship points.
