Turbo Time
In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger from his role in Jingle All the Way... "It's turbo time." Event #4 begins today in the late afternoon. It will be the first of two No-Limit Hold'em Turbo tournaments here at Harvey's Lake Tahoe. The speedy, 20-minute levels make for a fast-paced game and smaller registration window. However, during the registration period any player who has been eliminated will be allowed one re-entry. This event will come to a conclusion by the end of the night.
Here is a quick rundown of Event #4:
- Buy-in: $365
- Registration is open until the start of Level 9 (~6:55 pm)
- One re-entry is allowed during the registration period
- Players begin with 10,000 in tournament chips
- Blinds start at 25/50
- All Levels are 20 minutes long
- There will be a 15-minute break after Level 6 and a 30-minute dinner break after Level 12
- This is a one-day tournament
- Global Casino Championship points are awarded to all players earning a cash
- The winner will receive a WSOP Circuit gold ring
