Day 2 Begins Sunday at Noon

All three starting flights have finished and now it is time for Day 2 of Event #1: $365 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack. The event had a $200,000 guaranteed prizepool, but that was surpassed in the final flight of the tournament and the final prizepool came to the total of $240,000.

There are 92 players returning for Day 2 from the starting field of 800 and by the end of the night there will be only one player left standing. The champion will earn $47,992, a WSOP Circuit gold ring and 50 Casino Championship points. Players enter Day 2 close to the money. The top 81 finishers will earn a cash. The full list of payouts can be found above under the "Prizepool" tab.

The players with the best shot of running deep today are the chip leaders coming into the day. The top chip count coming into Day 2 belongs to David "Bama" Walters. He has 588,000 chips. Rounding out the top five chip counts are Chris Churchwell (525,000), Benjamin Thomas (489,000), Tommy Ming Zhu (410,000) and Stephen Nussrallah (395,000). The full list of chip counts can be found above under the "Reports" tab.

Play begins today at the start of Level 19: 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante. The first three levels of the day will be 40 minutes long and then the remainder of the levels in the tournament will be 50 minutes long.
