Allan Le leads after Day 2 of the $1,500 mixed-Omaha event

Only 27 players remain from a starting field of 668 players who joined in the debut of a new multi-format, split-pot Omaha tournament: the $1,500 PLO/8; Omaha 8; Big O tournament. John Monnette (531,000) started the day as the chipleader, and he closely trails Allan Le (562,500) going into Day 3.

Day 2 started with 207 players battling to make the money, with pieces of a $901,800 prizepool at stake. 101 players cashed, though most of those also hit the rail during the evening's play. A complete list of payouts can be found on the Results tab above.

Other familiar names making it through to Day 3 include Yuval Bronshtein (348,000), Bart Hanson (217,500), Gavin Smith (102,000), David Bach (49,000), and Jason Somerville (28,000). Gary Bolden, with two WSOP Circuit rings to his name, is near the lead with 323,500.

All of the players who made it through Day 2 can be found on the Chip Counts tab for the event.

Day 3 begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the schedule calling for a new bracelet winner to be determined by the end of play. Everyone remaining will win at least $5,639, with the bracelet and top prize of $189,223 for the tournament champion.
