Day 1A of Monster Stack Begins at 10AM

Welcome to Day 1A of the Monster Stack tournament!

This is a unique event on the WSOP schedule. For a $1,500 buy-in, players begin with 15,000 in chips - equivalent to ten times the buy-in amount. The Monster Stack is now in its third year. Last year's event attracted a massive field of 7,192 players, and when play finally concluded, Perry Shiao took home the top prize of  $1,327,083 and his first WSOP bracelet.

This is the first of two starting days: Day 1A begins today at 10 a.m., and Day 1B begins Saturday at 10 a.m. On Sunday, surviving players from both flights will return in a combined field for Day 2.

Day 1 is scheduled for 10 hour-long levels, with a 90-minute dinner break after Level 8.

Keep it here to follow all the action in Day 1A of the Monster Stack.
