Jason Mercier Leads the Final Nine Players
Will Jason Mercier Capture his Fourth WSOP Bracelet?
Welcome to Day 3 coverage of Event #16: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship.
The starting field of 100 entries is down to the final nine players. While each is guaranteed at least $19,953, all eyes are on the top prize of $273,335, as well as a coveted WSOP bracelet.
Leading the way into Day 3 is three-time bracelet winner Jason Mercier with 1,023,000. His path to a possible fourth bracelet won't be an easy one, as a talented and highly-skilled field remains. In second and third in chips, respectively, are Mike Watson (853,000) and Stephen Chidwick (770,000). Both are on the short list of the best players in the game without a bracelet, and both are looking to capture that elusive first title.
