Matt Pray Earns a Rare Nonuple Up

The money bubble broke just before the break, and a seat is open on Matt Pray's table, from a player who busted the bubble.

Pray, on the button for the first post-break hand, has just 700 chips left after paying his 300 ante. Even the small blind is 1,000.

Frank Stumpf is in late position with 10,800, a short stack, though considerably more than Pray.

Eric Pharr shoves all in under the gun. Stumpf quickly follows, and Pray is all in without even looking at his cards.

Pharr tables   . Stumpf shows   .

Pray finally looks at his cards when he turn them over:   .

The board is      . Pray takes in over nine times what he shoved into the pot - the highly unusual nonuple up - though he's still in the danger zone. Stumpf gets nearly double his stack going into the break. And Pharr is still alive.

Matt Pray - 6,500
Frank Stumpf - 20,200
Eric Pharr - 17,000
