David Slaughter Wins Near 300,000 Chip Pot
According to Cord Garcia, Harrah's New Orleans Event #1 winner David Slaughter just won a nearly 300,000 chip pot to take the chip lead. In a single raised pot there were four players to see the flop. After a raising war, it was a four way all in with one player flopping a pair of aces holding , one flopping a set holding , another unknown hand, and Slaughter with (straight and flush draw). The turn gave Slaughter the straight, and the river gave him the win.
He is now sitting with just under 300,000 in chips. To put that in perspective, the chip leader from Flight A ended with 273,000. Slaughter now has more chips, and still has three more levels to play in this second and final flight.
