Both "Catch", Allen Misenheimer Catches Better
Four players see a flop of and after two players in early position check, Allen Misenheimer bets 3,500 from middle position. A player calls in late position, as does a player in the blinds before the forth player involved in the hand folds, sending just three to the turn. The falls and the player in the blinds, along with Misenheimer, check to the in position player, who bets 15,000.
The player in the blinds folds and Misenheimer, who only has 10,500 in front of him, puts his remaining chips in, only to be shown . His opponent holds the nut flush but Misenheimer has better, as he smiles and turns over .
The meaningless river falls, as a player at the other end of the table shrieks, "Not again!?", as this is the second time in the last few levels that the nut flush has fallen to a straight flush. Misenheimer was the most recent beneficiary and he's now playing just shy of double the starting stack, with just a few minutes separating this Flight A field from their dinner break.
