Jonathan Hilton Sends Last Year's Runner-Up To The Rail
Ben Keeline
Last year's WSOP Circuit Choctaw Main Event podium places aren't fairing too well through the first six and a half levels of this year's Flight A session. Last year's winner, Jose Montes, has already misfired on two bullets and Ben Keeline, pictured above, who finished 2nd to Montes, just hit the rail after Jonathan Hilton made a tough call on the river.
With the board showing and nearly 10,000 in the pot, Hilton bets 5,700 from middle position and Keeline, who is in the cutoff, thinks for a few moments before announcing himself "all-in". The shove is for 17,300 and after close to two minutes in the tank, Hilton verbalizes "call" and gets to see the good news. Keeline tables and Hilton's , good for top pair, is enough to score the knockout and take down the sizable pot.
Hilton is now trending near the top of the Flight A chip counts and it remains to be seen whether Keeline will get back into the action tonight or wait for a fresh start in tomorrow's Flight B session.
Jonathan Hilton - 66,000
