First Circuit Main Of 2016 Just A Half Hour Away

The first World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event of 2016 is just over a half hour away and the preliminary ring events over the last week and a half at Choctaw Casino Resort have set the stage for what should be another massive Main Event. Last year, this same $1,675 Main Event saw 1,363 players build up an over $2,000,000 prize pool, crushing the original $1,000,000 guarantee. When it was all said and done, East Coaster Jose Montes was walking away with a $350,000 score and his first career WSOP Circuit victory.

This year, another $1,000,000 prize pool awaits and over the course of the next few days, WSOP.com will be bringing you updates from the Choctaw Casino Resort. This updates will start today, at 12 PM, when Flight A of the Main Event begins. Today's flight will follow the same structure of tomorrow's Flight B, with both playing 16 levels. Registration is available until the start of Level 13, and players are allowed one re-entry per starting flight for a maximum of four total entries.

The eventual champion of this event will earn an entry into the 2016 Global Casino Championship and WSOP.com will track this Flight A field throughout the house of this first starting flight. Live updates will start once cards get in the air at 12 PM.
