Event #8 is just getting underway inside the Grand Theater at Choctaw.
Last season, Steven Moore defeated a field of 281 players to win his first gold ring and the $20,233 top prize in this event. The board shows 126 entries so far today, and registration remains open until the start of Level 9.
Players start with 10,000 in tournament chips, and the first 12 levels are 30 minutes apiece. They'll increase to 40 minutes from there to the end of Day 1, which will conclude at the completion of Level 21.
