Eric Crews Eliminates Three Players
With Jarrell Fielding already all in, he and four others see the dealer spread a king-high flop. Eric Crews leads the betting, Blake Whittington puts the rest of his short stack in with a couple overcards and a backdoor draw, and Dale Smith calls all in with pocket tens. Gene Timberlake open-folds pocket aces to close the action and cue the four-way showdown. Crews tables pocket jacks with two meaningless cards, and he's ahead of all three opponents with two cards to come. The turn gives Whittington an additional straight draw, but the river is a blank, and Crews scores the rare triple knockout.
After stacking that pot, Crews should be close to the million-chip mark, and he's now the big stack at the table with six players left.
Jarrell Fielding - 9th place ($1,628)
Blake Whittington - 8th place ($2,035)
Dale Smith - 7th place ($2,585)
