Ryan Jones Going for His Second Cherokee Gold Ring

- Ryan Jones won the Cherokee Main Event in April of 2015

The field is now down to the final 19 players and one of those players is Ryan Jones. Jones is the defending Main Event champion at this property. In April, Jones defeated 786 players to win the Cherokee Main Event and earn his first WSOP Circuit gold ring. He won $235,804 for his first place finish. Since then Jones has cashed in seven WSOP events, but has failed to reach any final tables. He is looking to make the final table, add another ring and another six-figure payday to his resume.

The average chip stack is 1.4  million and Jones is sitting on about 1 million chips with the blinds at 20,000/40,000 with a 5,000 ante. Joining Jones at the final three tables is three-time gold ring winner Cody Pack. Pack won his first gold ring last year at this property in the turbo event. Since then Pack has won two more gold rings and reached four WSOP Circuit final tables.
