THURSDAY FEATURES TWO NEW GOLD RING EVENTS AT HARVEYS LAKE TAHOE

Beside the two new events, the monster stack event will finish and award the winner $23,874.
Stateline, Nev. (November 5, 2015) -- Day 8 is a busy day at Harveys Lake Tahoe with three different gold ring events running simultaneously. One of those three events is Event #7 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack. This event began yesterday and drew a field of 346 entries. The tournament played 21 levels yesterday before players bagged up. There are 23 players that survived Day 1 and will be returning today for Day 2 and the conclusion of the tournament. Day 2 is scheduled to begin today at 2 p.m.
Here is a look at the top 10 chip counts heading into Day 2 of the monster stack:

The other two gold ring events on the day are brand new events. Event #8 and #9 kick off today as the last two gold events before the Main Event. There are still two more gold ring events after the Main Event as well. Event #8 - $580 No-Limit Hold'em begins at 11 a.m. It is the largest buy-in of the series, excluding the Main Event. Last year this event drew over 200 players and generated a $100K plus prize pool. Here is a look at the details for Event #8
Event #8 - $580 No-Limit Hold'em - Day 1 - 11 a.m.
- Players begins with 12,000 chips
- Blinds begin at 25/50
- Registration remains open until the beginning of Level 9 (~3:30 p.m.)
- Re-entry is not allowed
- Level 1-12 are 30 minutes long, levels 13-21 are 40 minutes long and levels 22+ are 50 minutes long
- There is a one hour dinner break after Level 12 (~5:45 p.m.)
- Day 1 is scheduled to last 21 levels
- This is a two-day tournament. Day 2 begins Friday at 2 p.m.
The other new gold ring event today is Event #9 - $365 Pot-Limit Omaha. This is the only non-hold'em ring event of the series. It begins at 4 p.m. with registration open until 8:30 p.m. Here is a closer look at this event:
Event #9 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em - Day 1 - 4 p.m.
- Players begins with 10,000 chips
- Blinds begin at 25/50
- Registration remains open until the beginning of Level 9 (~8:30 p.m.)
- Re-entry is not allowed
- Level 1-14 are 30 minutes long, levels 15-20 are 40 minutes long and levels 21+ are 50 minutes long
- There is no dinner break on Day 1
- Day 1 is scheduled to last 17 levels
- This is a two-day tournament. Day 2 begins Friday at 3 p.m.
