Las Vegas, Nevada (January 17, 2022) - The World Series of Poker Circuit has started the year strong, with large fields throughout the first three stops. With this in mind, expectations are high when the Circuits come to Horseshoe Tunica on Thursday.

The series will run between January 19th - 30th, awarding sixteens rings and as many tickets to the Tournament of Champions.

Cards will be in the air Thursday, January 19th, with the much anticipated $400 No-Limit Hold'em Big 30K Stack. The Big 30K is followed by the ever-popular Event #2: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry, with four starting flights, starting at 4:00 PM on Thursday.

Other highlights on the schedule include the $600 Mystery Bounty (Jan 22), and the marquee event of the series, the $1,700 Main Event.

The Main Event will be stretched over three starting flights. Flight A will have cards in the air Thursday, January 26th at 11:00 AM, and the next two flights will have the same start time on Friday and Saturday. The three-day event will conclude Monday, January 30th, bringing the Horseshoe Tunica Circuit to a close.

Last year's Circuit Main Event at Horseshoe Tunica saw San Diego's Randy Paguioa claim his first WSOP Circuit gold ring and a top prize of $193,764 after defeating a field of 674 entrants.

Any official gold ring winners from this WSOP Circuit stop will qualify for the new invitation-only “Tournament of Champions.” The $1 million freeroll event will be held during the 2023 World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. 2022/23 online bracelet winners will also be eligible to compete in the new signature event.
