9 August 2022 (Cherokee, NC) - Tuesday features Flight A of the $400 No-Limit Hold'em MONSTER Stack at 11:00 a.m. with unlimited re-entries until registration closes at 6:30 p.m. before the start of Level 13. The second flight is on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and play will complete on Thursday with Day 2 at 12:00 p.m.

Later in the afternoon at 4:00 p.m. is the non-ring $2,200 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max single-day High Roller event. Blinds are 20-minutes long and players begin with a stack of 25,000 chips. Registration closes at 7:20 p.m. before the start of Level 9.

After 18 levels of play, just 16 players remain at the end of Day 1 in Event #7: $400 Pot-Limit Omaha

Dominique Morrison bagged the chip lead with 674,000 chips followed by Andrew Donabedian (575,000) and Phu Nguyen (516,000) to make up the top three stacks. 

Play fires back up at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and will play down to a winner.

The tournament staff has made the decision to bag up the remaining three players in Event #6: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max to come back for a second day. Leading the way is Ian Holt with 5,780,000 followed by Brandon Zuidema (3,725,000) and Jonah LaBranche (2,030,000).

All remaining players are guaranteed $20,652, with second place taking $29,307 and the winner pocketing $47,422.

Play will start back up at 2:00 p.m. and will conclude once a winner is determined.

Richard Fowlkes topped a field of 925 entries to win Event #4: $400 Seniors' No-Limit Hold'em for $51,755 and his first gold World Series of Poker Circuit ring.
