The Power Poker Series has a diverse structure of events tailored to a variety of players. From local grinders, to out of town visitors and everything in between, the newest poker series to hit The Strip was designed with players top of mind. Below is an overview of the special events with more details.

  • Marquee events will be held daily at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Each will offer a mega satellite with a guaranteed seat to the winner. All events and mega satellites will offer guaranteed prize pools. All events will offer generous starting stacks and deep structures with plenty of play. Most events will last two days unless noted otherwise on the official schedule. Winners will receive a special trophy in addition to the prize money awarded in each event.
  • The opening weekend of the tournament offers a few unique opportunities for players.  Event #5 - $500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em will offer a 50,000 starting stack and $25K GTD prize pool and is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6 at 12 p.m. Event #7 - $400 Big Game Stack No-Limit Hold’em will take place the following day (Sunday, Feb. 7 at 12 p.m.) where players will receive a 50,000 starting stack and $10,000 GTD prize pool.  Football fans playing in the tournament will be able to watch the “Big Game” which will be broadcast during tournament play.
  • Two Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em events are scheduled as well. A $400 buy-in will take place on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 12 p.m. and a $600 buy-in on Monday, Feb. 15 at 12 p.m. These events were specifically created to produce excitement for the players and break up the monotony of standard tournament formats.
  • Two exclusive events have been planned for seniors and female players. A $400 buy-in Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Event with a $10,000 GTD prize pool is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 12 at 12 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day) at 3 p.m. a $300 buy-in Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Event with a $5,000 GTD prize pool will be offered.
  • Event #29 offers a new and inclusive way to compete. In the $500 No-Limit Hold’em Chop It event scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18, players will go until only 15% of the field remains, at which point all remaining players will split the net prize pool equally.
  • Back by popular demand and after the success of Main Event Mania, there are now even more opportunities to play favorite non-Hold’em games and formats such as: Omaha 8, Pot-Limit Omaha, Big O,  Triple Stud, HORSE, Nine Game Mixed, and now Stud 8, Mixed O8 / Stud 8, TORSE, and Mixed Triple Draw have been added.
  • For some quick and fun play later in the day, the nightly at 7 p.m. is a $175 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event with a $2,000 GTD. This is a 1-day event and a great way to satisfy the appetite for poker at a different time than the other events.
  • Thrice High Rollers will be taking place over a three-day period leading up to the PPS Main Event. On Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 12 p.m., High Roller #1 will be a $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em with a $20,000 GTD prize pool. High Roller #2 will be a $2,200 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em with a $25,000 GTD prize pool held on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m. High Roller #3 will be a $3,300 No-Limit Hold’em with a $30,000 GTD prize pool held on Friday, Feb. 26 at 12 p.m.
  • The Main Event is a $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Tournament with a $100,000 GTD Prize Pool. Players may choose their starting day (flight) of Sunday, Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. or Monday, March 1 at 12 p.m. There will be one re-entry allowed per flight during the late registration period, which is 12 levels. Players will begin with 100,000 in non-value tournament chips and levels will last 40 minutes throughout. Day 2 will be on Tuesday, March 2 where players will play down to the final eight players. The final eight players will resume on Wednesday, March 3 and continue until a winner has been determined.
  • Eight $130 Mega Satellites will be offered for players to win their way into the PPS Main Event. Dates for these events will be Saturday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Sunday, Feb.  28 – Monday. March 1 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
