2015 WSOP National Championship

About the 2014 WSOP National Championship

For the fourth year, the WSOP National Championship puts the spotlight on the heroes of the WSOP Circuit and offers them a chance to compete in front of the ESPN cameras for their shot at a gold bracelet and their share of a seven-figure prize pool with $1 million in added money.

This year, the bracelet event moves to the boardwalk, as Bally's plays host to the event from May 22nd-24th. This year though, the bracelet event isn't the only action being offered. Thanks to the real money online poker room WSOP.com, players will have a chance to get their seat in the National Championship absolutely free.

On Monday, May 19th, WSOP.com will present a freeroll at Bally's, and the only thing players need to participate is a WSOP.com account. The winner of the freeroll earns a seat into the National Championship alongside the 94 Circuit qualifiers and players from the pool of 100 WSOP Player of the Year points qualifiers who can buy into the tournament for $10,000.

If the freeroll isn't enough, the next day, Tuesday, May 20th, Bally's will also host an $1,125 buy-in "last chance" event where the inner will earn a chunk of the prize pool and the last seat into the National Championship. If you don't have $1,125 at the ready, don't worry, WSOP.com in New Jersey will be running nightly $22 buy-in satellite events with rebuys and add-ons every night at 6:30pm from May 14th-18th. There is one seat guaranteed for each satellite tournament.
