Geary and Rich Chop
 
From the cutoff seat, Jim Geary raised before Richard Toth reraised from the button. Jordan Rich called out of the small blind and Sebastian Ruthenberg folded from the big blind before Geary made the call. The flop came down       and Rich led out. Geary raised and Toth went into the tank. After a minute or so of thinking, Toth folded and Rich called. The turn and river both checked after it came the  , then the  . Rich tabled         and Geary showed        . Geary took the high half with aces and sixes while Rich took the low.

After calling his raise from the big blind, Freddy Deeb and Pascal Leyo saw a flop of    . After a bet and call, Deeb bet the   on the turn, and Leyo raised all in. Deeb called and turned over a flush draw. Leyo showed      and rivered his straight to scoop the pot.

After the final board read          , Robert Price checked to Jordan Rich. Price had been betting the entire way and Rich calling up until the river. Price revealed just     for ace-eight high. Rich saw this and tabled         for ace-jack high and the winning hand.

Thang Luu raised from under-the-gun and got called by Ed Smith in the big blind. Smith check-called a flop of     and check-called the   on the turn. He took the lead by betting the   on the river and a disgusted Luu tossed his hand into the muck.

Rich Gets Richer
 
On a flop of      , Richard Toth checked to Jordan Rich. Rich laid out a bet and Toth called. The turn brought the   and Toth checked again. Rich bet and then Toth check-raised. Rich quickly made the call. The river was the   and Toth fired a bet. Rich stood from his chair and ran his hands through his hair. "What did you check-raise me with on the turn?" he questioned. After another minute or so and Rich said, "I think I have to call." Toth shook his head and showed Rich his cards. Seeing Toth's hand, Rich tabled         and scooped the pot. Toth didn't show the rest of the table and mucked his hand. Rich is up to 465,000 chips.

Dan Spear Eliminated 14th ($12,669)
 
Dan Spear raised preflop and and was re-raised by Thang Luu. Sanovio Ramirez called from the big blind, and Spear called all in. Ramirez and Luu checked down the board, which came       and Ramirez turned over    for two pair, which was good enough to scoop the pot. Spear earned $12,669 for his tournament play.

Lee Mougous Wins a Sizable Pot
 
Micah Brooks raised under-the-gun and got called by Lee Mougous and Ming Reslock. Reslock bet a flop of     and got two calls. She bet the   on the turn and got called again. Mougous took the lead when the   hit the river. Brooks folded and Reslock called. She mucked when Mougous turned over      for a wheel.

Edgar Cheng Eliminated in 16th Place ($9,899); William Seale Eliminated in 17th Place ($9,899)
 
The flop came down       between five players. First, Ming "Joy" Reslock bet out. Then, Edgar Cheng raised all in for 7,000 more. William Seale then tanked and made the call all in. The other two players folded before Reslock called the the extra amount. [u]Showdown[/u] Reslock:         Cheng:         Seale:         The turn brought the   and gave Reslock a full house. The river was the  . Reslock's full house netted her the pot and the elimination of both players. Seale had fewer chips so he received 17th place. Cheng finished in 16th place.

Jeremy Harkin Eliminated in 19th Place ($7,689)
 
Jeremy Harkin was our first elimination of the day. With 10,000 of his 32,000 stack in the big blind, he raised all in against Robert Price. Harkin showed ace-jack-9-7 all in hearts vs. Price's king-6-4-3. When the flop came king-jack-4, Smith took a commanding lead with two pair. A 6 on the turn and 10 on the river didn't help Harkin, who left in 19th spot and earned $7,689.

Seale Hunting
 
William Seale has been extremely active in the early goings. In one hand, on a board of        , Ming "Joy" Reslock fired a bet and Seale called saying, "Man, I guess it's time to go home." The river brought   and Reslock bet again. Seale went into the tank and finally opted to toss his hand away. He was left with 40,000 chips on this hand while Reslock moved up to 200,000. On the next hand, Seale was involved again. This time the board read       and Jordan Rich raised enough to make Seale committed and all in. Seale showed         and Rich showed        . After the turn and river came the   followed by the  , the two players chopped up the pot. A couple hands later, more action involved Seale. He limped in to start the action, Jordan Rich completed from the small blind, and then Senovio Ramirez III checked in the big blind. The flop came down       and action checked to Seale. He fired a bet that only Ramirez called. The turn brought the   and both players checked. The river was checked again when the   hit the felt. Ramirez tabled         to scoop the pot and cripple Seale down to 23,000 chips.

Thang Luu Comes Out Swinging
 
It didn't take long for a big pot to develop. Thang Luu and Henry Hull mixed it up early on a flop of     when Luu bet and Hull called. The   on the turn brought another bet and call, as did the the   on the river. When the hands were opened, Luu quartered Hull when he took the high with a pair of kings and chopped the low with ace-2.
