Ostrander Takes Over Chip Lead

It was folded over to Paul Vas Nunes, who completed from the small blind. Greg Ostrander checked his option from the big blind and the two would see a cheap flop.


Vas Nunes led out for 80,000 and Greg Ostrander raised to 225,000. Vas Nunes called to see the turn, which brought the  .

Vas Nunes slowed down and checked, prompting a 460,000 bet from Ostrander. Vas Nunes called.

The   completed the board and this time Vas Nunes led out for 1.4 million. Ostrander made the called and Vas Nunes flipped over    for a busted flush draw. Ostrander tabled    for a rivered pair of kings and scooped the pot.

Ostrander, who appeared relieved to win the pot, said, "I don't like being in a hand with you, buddy."

Las Nunes is down to 2.8 million while Ostrander has assumed the chip lead with 6.5 million.

Vas Nunes Gets Some Off Ostrander

Paul Vas Nunes opened to 130,000 from the button and Ostrander made the call from the small blind. Jackie Glazier got out of the way and it was heads-up going to the flop.


Ostander checked to Vas Nunes, who fired 175,000 into the middle. Ostrander called.

The turn brought the   and Ostrander checked once more, prompting a 400,000 bet from Vas Nunes. Ostrander decided to let it go and mucked.

Ostrander is sitting on 4.4 million and Vas Nunes has 5 million, at the moment.

Glazier Doubles Through Vas Nunes

Jackie Glazier opened to 130,00 from the small blind and Paul Vas Nunes called from the big blind to see a flop, which came    .

Glazier bet 275,000, to which Vas Nunes re-raised to 750,000 total. Glazier announced she was all in for about 1.6 million total and Vas Nunes made the call to put Glazier at risk.

Glazier:    for the nut-flush draw.
Vas Nunes:    for an open-ended straight draw.

The   turn gave Glazier the flush and sent her rail into a cheering frenzy. A meaningless   fell on the river and Glazier doubled through to 3.45 million.

Jackie Glazier opened to 125,000 from the the button and directly behind her, Paul Vas Nunes three-bet to 285,000 from the small blind. Glazier called and the flop came    .

Vas Nunes led out for 325,000 and Glazier called. However, when Vas Nunes fired 550,000 on the   turn, Glazier opted to lay her hand down.

Darryl Ronconi opened to 110,000 from the button and it was folded over to Greg Ostrander on the big blind, who re-popped it to 350,000 total. Ronconi tanked hard, shuffling his chips and mowing his decision over for quite some before announcing he was all in.

"I hope you're not Hollywooding me," Ostrander said. He then made the call to put Ronconi at risk.

Joseph Chaplin went all in for his last 170,000 from early position and action folded around to Morten Mortensen on the button, who pushed out a stack of green for a hefty re-raise. Directly behind him, Darryl Ronconi called all in for a little over 300,000 for a three-way all-in pot.


The board ran out      , leaving Ronconi with a pair of aces for the scoop and eliminating Chaplin in 7th place.

Action folded around to Paul Vas Nunes in the small blind, who went all in. Kyle Frey called all in for his last 735,000 and cards were flipped over.

Vas Nunes Muscles a Pot From Hortin

Paul Vas Nunes opened to 85,000 from the button and directly behind him, Dylan Hortin three-bet to 215,000 from the small blind. It was folded back around to Vas Nunes, who called.

The flop came     and Hortin led out for 225,000. Hortin called.

A   fell on the turn and Hortin fired again - this time for 350,000. Van Nunes deliberated for a bit and then announced he was all in . Hortin snap-folded and Vas Nunes scooped the pot.
