Madsen Triples Up

Jeff Madsen raised the pot first to act and Alexander Bachmann called. Jochen Keiser in the small blind reraised the pot and Kostiantyn Tupalo moved all in from the big blind, Madsen called all in for the last 9,900 to see Bachmann fold.

"You both have aces?" Madsen asked before the cards were turned over.

Zaskodny Chips Up

The flop showed     and Roman Cieslik bet 500. Lukas Zaskodny raised to 6,000 in the cutoff and was called only by Teunis Kooij in the small blind. They checked down the   turn and the   river, which prompted Kooij to announce "your aces are good."

Zaskodny tabled the      and Kooij tapped the table with the words "king queen is good, too."

Pot-Limit Omaha bracelet winner Zaskodny replied "Omaha sucks," and raked in the pot.

Second Break of the Day

The first six levels are completed and the players have been sent into a 15-minute break, in which the T-25 chips will be raced off. There are already as many entries as Day 1a with 230 thus far, and 130 players remain.

Teusl Back Above Starting Stack

Jessica Teusl was down to as low as 2,000 and has now climbed back to more than the starting stack without having re-entered just yet. A four-way pot to the       river was checked through and Teusl was first to show, flashing the      for kings and queens.

Her three opponents including Roland Israelashvili and Ana Maria David mucked and the 10,500 chip pot pot was shipped to the Austrian.

Garcia Busts One

Cord Garcia raised to 1,000 and the button three-bet to 3,000. Garcia clicked it back to 9,000 and his opponent was somewhat confused as he had not seen the initial raise. Ultimately, the 9,000 bet of Garcia was called and the American then jammed first to act on the     flop. His opponent reluctantly called and Garcia asked "Do you need the king? Because the king won't come," as he tabled his cards.

The decent start of Jessica Teusl has been canceled out and she just forfeited a big pot to drop well below the starting stack. On the river of a board      , she checked and folded to a big bet of Roland Israelashvili, who claimed the 27,000 chip pot without showdown.

Garcia Flushes Fiam

"Might as well have to buy this bracelet, I am already in for seven bullets, stopped counting," Cord Garcia joked after he had just dispatched Lukas Fiam in cruel fashion.

Garcia had three-bet to 3,000 and called the jam of Fiam for the following showdown.

Gal Essentially Triples Up in Spectacular Hand

Zoltan Gal

On the three-way flop of    , the fireworks started over on table 123 and three players got their stacks in with Andreas Walnum holding the far biggest stack of them. Zoltan Gal tabled his cards and the dealer suddenly mucked them before other players at the table spoke up and confirmed what Gal had . His cards were retrieved out of the muck and the three-way showdown came as follows:

Almost Up to 200 Entries

The re-entries keep on pouring in with Cord Garcia, Pedjman Hamie, Florian Sarnow and Christopher Back already having paid visit to the registration desk to get back in the game. According to the screens, there are 142 players out of 197 entries remaining in the fourth level of the day and it seems very likely that the already strong turnout of Day 1a will be surpassed easily.

Dahan Dusts Stack Off to Ondejka

Asher Dahan in The COLOSSUS

In a four-bet preflop, Asher Dahan and Daniel Ondejka clashed in a battle button versus small blind. More than 24,000 were in the middle with the flop showing     and the stacks went in. Dahan held the      for bottom set and Ondejka had the      for top set.

Both the   turn and   river brought no miracle and the stacks were counted, both had exactly as many chips and thus Dahan was sent to the rail.

Sebastian Langrock raised to 1,000 and was called one way before Sterling Savill three-bet to 4,000 out of the big blind. Langrock and the other player in the hand called to see the    , on which Savill bet 3,000. The continuation bet did the trick to get both opponents out of the pot.

The board was all but rushed away and a frustrated Peter Siemund left the table with the words "I didn't make a call before that I should have and now I run with second nuts into the nuts." Martino Cito raked in the pot and more than doubled his stack since sitting down.
