Crha Takes From Hawes
On the flop of , Gregory Hawes check-min-raised from 1,000 to 2,000 out of the blinds and Rene Crha called to see the on the turn. Hawes bet 4,000 and Crha came along for the ride. On the river, Hawes slowed down and checked. Crha took the opportunity to bet 4,500 and that did the trick to force a fold.
Two tables over, Viliyan Petleshkov was involved in a bigger pot and moved all in for the side of the pot on the river. His opponent gave it plenty of thought, but ended up folding to award the pot to Petleshkov.

Oghabian Flops the Nuts; Cannot Hold
The flop showed and Tomas Petru, as well as Milad Oghabian, had checked out of the blinds. Pavel Kovalenko in late position bet 1,700 and Petru check-raised to 4,300. Oghbanian eyed the stack of his table neighbor carefully and moved all in, which forced an instant fold from Kovalenko.
Petru called it off and was at risk with the for middle pair and the nut flush draw. Oghabian had a big blind special with for the flopped straight only to see his hand fail to hold up on the turn and river. Petru doubled for 13,700 and put a dent into Oghabian's stack.

The First Break on Day 1D
Peter Kamaras arrived just when the Day 1D field was sent into the first 15-minute break of the day with 102 players out of 117 entries remaining.
"What happened?" Kamaras asked when noticing the big stack of Rakesh Lalwani.
"One guy went all in with top pair and there was only 8,000 in the middle. I hit sets against two pair, nut flush," Lalwani explained and the Indian is the chip leader after level four with nearly four times the starting stack.

Kovalenko Eliminated by Buzan
Adrian Buzan raised from under the gun and Pavel Kovalenko stuck around on the button to see the flop of . Buzan checked, Kovalenko bet 1,000 and was called by big stack Buzan.
On the turn, Buzan check-called a second bet worth 2,500 and then checked the on the river. Kovalenko bet 6,000 with around 10,000 behind and Buzan then moved all in.

Scaramozza Busts Early On

Lalwani Sends Zukorlic to the Rail
Picking up the action on the flop, Rakesh Lalwani bet 1,100 and Jan Gompers called from a few seats over in late position. Solid Start for Boyd and Sahijwani
The early success rate of Dutch Boyd in the previous flights has been very good and the three-time WSOP bracelet winner scored an early double on Day 1A while grinding up a big stack on Day 1B. Neither has been the case for Day 1D just yet, but he added quite a few chips to his stack.

Day 1D of The COLOSSUS Kicks Off at 6PM!
While the third starting day is currently underway and still in late registration with up to 117 entries, the fourth flight of the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe Event #1: €550 COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold'em is already throwing shades into Europe's biggest poker arena at the King's Casino in Rozvadov.
More than 400 entries have been generated in the first of ten gold bracelet events thus far and that number will likely receive a significant boost on Day 1D as of 6 p.m. local time. All those poker enthusiasts from near and far that haven't been able to secure their seat for Day 2 will jump right back into the action for 18 levels of 30 minutes each.
All participants receive 25,000 in chips and the late registration remains open until approximately 11.40 p.m. local time. During the registration period, a single re-entry is available and the top 15% of the field will receive a portion of the separate Day 1 prize pool. The money bubble is expected to burst in the final three levels of the night and bagging will take place at 4 a.m. local time.
