A Chat with Steve Sung
Steven Sung leads the remaining four players at the end of Level 24. PokerNews caught up with a supremely confident Sung during the dinner break to talk briefly about this event and his 2013 World Series.
PokerNews: What would it mean to you to win your second bracelet in this event?
Steve Sung: It would be a dream come true. Any bracelet is great, but this event is special.
You've cashed three times so far this World Series, four after tonight. How much are you planning on playing over the next few weeks?
I plan to play a lot. I'll be playing the 50K tomorrow (Event #55: The $50,000 Poker Players' Championship 8-game mix). And I'll be playing the Main Event, of course.
How do you feel about your spot at the table right now?
I feel great. I'm not really worried about anyone right now. I have position on Phil. He's a great player, but I'm on his left and I have the chip lead, so I feel good about my chances.
Do you have any interesting off-the-felt projects?
Nothing right now, but there will be a lot of things coming up soon. That's all I can say for now, so I'll leave it at that.
