Hand #100 Doesn't Amount to Much

Hand #96: Josh Pollock raised the button to 50,000 and Shawn Silber called from the big blind. Both players checked the     flop, the   turned and both players checked for a second time. The   river saw Silber bet 70,000 and Pollock called. Silber tabled the      for an ace-high flush and it was good.

Hand #97: Josh Pollock raised to 50,000 and Noah Schwartz called from the button. The blinds folded, the flop fell     and both players checked. The   turn saw both players check for a second time, and Pollock ended up check-folding to a bet of 125,000 on the   river.

Hand #98: Shawn Silber limped from the button, James Park checked his option from the big and the flop fell    . Park checked and then folded when Silber bet 57,000.

Hand #99: Shawn Silber raised from the cutoff and took down the blinds.

Hand #100: Noah Schwartz limped from the small blind and Shawn Silber checked his option from the big. Silber then called a bet of 26,000 on the     flop and the   turned. Schwartz fired out 80,000, Silber called and the   completed the board on the river. This time Schwartz slowed down with a check and Silber did the same. Silber tabled      for a straight and it was good as Schwartz sent his cards to the muck.

Hand #92: Noah Schwartz and Shawn Silber checked a     flop, and the turn was  . Schwartz bet 65,000, and Silber called. The river was  , and both players checked. Schwartz showed      to take the pot.

Hand #93: Josh Pollock raised to 50,000. He took the pot.

Hand #94: James Park raised to 50,000 from the button, and Pollock called from the big blind. The flop came    , and both players checked. A   put trips on the board, and two more checks resulted. The river was a  , and Pollock bet out 50,000. Park called. Pollock's    in the hole was good.

Hand #95: Eric Shanks raised to 50,000 from the button, and Pollock made it 162,000 from the small blind. Shanks repotted to go all in, and Pollock called.

Eddie Blumenthal Eliminated in 7th Place ($33,057)

Hand #90: Noah Schwartz opened for 65,000 from the small blind and Shawn Silber folded from the big.

Hand #91: Eddie Blumenthal raised the pot to 84,000 from the cutoff only to have Noah Schwartz reraise to 250,000 from the button. Blumenthal made the call and then moved all in on the     flop. Schwartz made a quick call and the hands were tabled.

Schwartz was well out in front with his pair of aces; in fact, after the dealer burned and turned the  , Blumenthal needed a ten on the river to survive. Unfortunately for the Wisconsinite, it wasn't in the cards as the   blanked. This marked the second seventh-place finish for Blumenthal at the 2013 WSOP, the other coming in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event.

Blumenthal Folds the River in Large Pot

Hand #86: Shawn Silber raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and took down the blinds.

Hand #87: A raise took down the pot.

Hand #88: Silber raised to 55,000, and Eddie Blumenthal called from the big blind. A     resulted in two checks. A   hit the turn, and Blumenthal checked. Silber bet 80,000 and took the pot.

Hand #89: Josh Pollock raised to 50,000, and Eddie Blumenthal and Noah Schwartz called from the blinds. The flop came    , and everyone checked. A   turned, and Blumenthal bet 93,000. Schwartz slid out two stacks of chips and a baby stack on top: 281,000. Pollock folded. After a long tank, Blumenthal called. A   fell on the river, and Blumenthal checked, and Schwartz fired a final bullet of 200,000. Blumenthal folded, and Schwartz scooped the large pot.

Hand #81: James Park raised to 48,000, and Eddie Blumenthal made the call from the big blind. Both players checked the     flop, and an   turned. Again, both players checked. The river was the  , and Blumenthal came out with 69,000, which Park called. Blumenthal's      was good for top two pair, and he took the pot.

Hand #82: Shawn Silber called under the gun, and Park bumped it to 75,000. Silber called. The flop came    , and Silber checked to the raiser. Park bet the pot, 186,000. Silber folded.

Hand #83: Josh Pollock raised to 50,000 and everyone else folded.

Hand #84: Pollock again raised to 50,000, and this time found a caller in Silber, the small blind. Silber checked the     flop, and he folded to a 55,000 bet from Pollock.

Hand #85: Noah Schwartz raised to 55,000 and nobody called him.

Both players checked to see the   river, and again they both checked. KT showed      for kings and sixes, which was good enough to win the pot.

Hand #79: Eddie Blumenthal raised to 40,000 from early position and Noah Schwartz called right behind. The rest of the field folded, the flop fell     and Blumenthal checked. Schwartz bet 65,000 and Blumenthal released.

Hand #80: Noah Schwartz made it 50,000 to go and Josh Pollock defended from the big. The     flop saw both player checks and the   appear on the turn. Pollock bet 75,000, Schwartz called and the   completed the board on the river. Pollock fired out 115,000 and Schwartz called. Pollock tabled the      for trips and it was good as Schwartz mucked.

Hand #73: Noah Schwartz raised to 50,000. Everyone else folded.

Hand #74: Schwartz raised to 50,000. Josh Pollock and Eddie Blumenthal called from the blinds. Both blinds checked the     flop, and Schwartz fired 100,000. Pollock raised pot, for 450,000, and Blumenthal got out of the way. Schwartz folded as well, though he tanked for a couple of minutes first.

Hand #75: Schwartz raised again, this time after Blumenthal completed the blind. Blumenthal folded.

Hand #76: James Park raised to 40,000. Shawn Silber potted it from the big blind, and Park folded.

Hand #77: Blumenthal raised to 40,000, and Silber called from the small blind. The flop came    . Blumenthal bet 40,000 after Silber checked, and Silber came back for pot, 196,000 more. Blumenthal folded after some thought.

Park Four-Bet Shoves

Hand #68: Eddie Blumenthal called from the small blind and Noah Schwartz checked his option from the big, bringing about a flop of    . Blumenthal led out for 27,000, Schwartz called and the   turned. Both players checked to the  , which they also checked. Blumenthal show      for nines and five, which was good enough to win the pot.

Hand #69: Josh Pollock made it 40,000 from the cutoff only to have Noah Schwartz three-bet to 150,000 from the small blind. Pollock folded.

Hand #70: Noah Schwartz raised to 60,000 on the button and took down the blinds.

Hand #71: Eric Shanks opened for 40,000 under the gun and Shawn Silber three-bet the pot to 170,000 from the button. James Park repotted from the big blind and was all in for 469,000 total. It took awhile but eventually both Shanks and Silber laid down their hands.

Hand #72: Josh Pollock raised to 40,000 under the gun, Shawn Silber called from the cutoff and Eric Shanks called from the big blind. The     flop saw all three players check and the dealer put out the   on the turn. Shanks led out for 65,000, Pollock folded and Silber made the call. When the   completed the board on the river, Shanks bet 128,000 and Silber folded.

Hand #66: Eddie Blumenthal raised to 40,000, finding no callers.

Hand #67: Noah Schwartz raised to 40,000, and David Greene reraised to 170,000. Josh Pollock repotted from the small blind, and Schwartz folded. Greene called off his remaining chips.

Park Doubles Through Silber

Hand #60: Four players saw a flop of     and then all checked to the   turn. After two checks, Noah Schwartz bet 40,000 and Josh Pollock raise to 105,000. The rest of the players folded including Schwartz.

Hand #61: Eddie Blumenthal made it 40,000 on the button and both blinds released. A dealer changed happened after the hand.

Hand #62: Eric Shanks raised to 40,000 only to have Noah Schwartz make it approximately 140,000. Shanks gave it some thought but ultimately folded his hand.

Hand #63: James Park opened for 40,000 and Noah Schwartz three-bet to 150,000. Both blinds released and Park did the same.

Hand #64: Shawn Silber raised to 50,000 from the cutoff only to have KT Park three-bet the pot to 170,000 from the small blind. Silber reraised and Park called off 189,000 total.

Hand #58: Schwartz made another raise to 36,000, and this time he was called by Shawn Silber. The flop came    , and Noah's continuation-bet of 52,000 was enough to pick up the pot.

Hand #59: KT Park raised to 32,000, and James Park reraised to 120,000. Action folded back around to KT, who folded after some thought.

Hand #51: Noah Schwartz opened for 36,000 and Shawn Silber called. The rest of the players folded and then Schwratz checked the     flop. Silber bet 35,000, Schwarzt called and then both players checked the   turn. Schwartz ended up check-calling a bet of 65,000 on the   river only to muck when Silber showed the      for a wheel.

Hand #52: Josh Pollock opened for 35,000 and Noah Schwartz called from the big blind. Both players checked the     flop and   turn, which brought about the   on the river. Schwartz check-called a bet of 35,000 and mucked when Pollock rolled over the      for two pair.

Hand #53: Eddie Blumenthal made it 32,000 to go from the button, Noah Schwartz and Shawn Silber called from the blinds and the flop came down    . Schwartz checked, Silber bet 60,000 and Blumenthal made it 229,000 to go. Schwartz quickly folded and then Silber followed suit.

Hand #54: Eddie Blumenthal opened from the cutoff for 32,000 and David Greene called from the big blind. When the flop fell    , Greene checked and Blumenthal fired out 38,000. Greene thought for about 90 seconds before folding his hand.

Hand #55: Eddie Blumenthal opened for 32,000 and won the blinds when KT Park opted not to defend his big blind.

Hand #56: Noah Schwartz raised to 34,000 from middle position and action folded to James Park in the big. He called and the flop came down    . Park folded to a bet of 45,000.

Silber took the opportunity to bet 108,000 and it did the trick as Blumenthal folded his hand.

Hand #41: Noah Schwartz opened for 36,000 from middle position and won the pot.

Hand #42: Shawn Silber opened for 35,000 from middle position and won the pot.

Hand #43: James Park opened for 32,000 and took down the blinds.

Hand #44: Action folded to Josh Pollock on the button and he raised to 32,000. Noah Schwartz defended from the big blind and it was heads-up action to the     flop. Schwartz was first to act and led out for 32,000, which inspired Pollock to raise pot. Schwartz quickly folded and Pollock took down the pot.

Hand #45: Action folded to Eddie Blumenthal on the button and he made it 32,000 to go. Noah Schwartz responded with a three-bet to 105,000 from the small blind and Blumenthal sent his hand to the muck.
