Hand #18: The button was on Antonio Esfandiari to start this hand. Action folded to him and he raised to an even one million. Sam Trickett defended with a call from the big blind and the flop came down    .

Trickett was first up on the flop and checked. Esfandiari slid out 1.325 million and Trickett gave it up. Esfandiari won the pot and moved back into the lead.

Hand #19: Bobby Baldwin began this hand with the button. First to act, David Einhorn made it 800,000 to go. In the next seat, Guy Laliberté reraised to 1.85 million. The action folded back to Einhorn and he tank-shoved all in for 11.85 million. Laliberté folded and Einhorn won the pot.

Hand #15: Guy Laliberté started this hand with the button. Play folded to Brian Rast in the small blind and he raised all in. Phil Hellmuth folded from the big blind and Rast won the blinds and antes.

Hand #16: Brian Rast had the button. Action folded to David Einhorn in the hijack seat and he raised to 800,000. Everyone folded and Einhorn won the pot.

Hand #17: Phil Hellmuth had the button and Seat 3. Richard Yong raised to 900,000 from early position and play folded Antonio Esfandiari in the small blind. He reraised to 2.5 million. Yong, who generally acts fairly quickly, took a couple moments and then called with 4.125 million behind.

The flop came down     and Esfandiari requested a count on Yong's stack. After he received it, Esfandiari moved all in. Yong quickly folded and Esfandiari won the pot.

Hand #13: Richard Yong started the hand with the button and action folded to Sam Trickett in the cutoff seat. He raised to 800,000. Guy Laliberté called from the big blind and the flop came down    .

On the flop, Laliberté fired 550,000 into Trickett. Trickett was the preflop raiser and took a minute before raising to 1.65. Laliberté wasted little time in making the call.

Fourth street brought the   and Laliberté checked. Trickett took some time with his decision and then bet 3.2 million. Laliberté tanked long and hard, before finally removing the chip from the top of his cards and flicking his hand into the muck.

Hand #14: David Einhorn was on the button. Phil Hellmuth raised to 900,000 from under the gun and action folded around the table to give Hellmuth the pot.

Hand #12: Sam Trickett had the button.

Phil Hellmuth raised to 900,000 from middle position and David Einhorn called from the big blind and the flop came down    . Both players checked.

The turn was the   and both players checked again to see the   land on the river. Einhorn led for 1.5 million and Hellmuth fired back with a raise to seven million straight.

Einhorn stood up and tanked, requesting a count on the raise, which was broken down to exactly what was announced, seven million. Hellmuth sat in his patented pose, hands cupped over his mouth, hat tightly snug on his head and didn't flinch. After a minute or more longer, Einhorn folded and Hellmuth raked in the pot.

Hand #11: Bobby Baldwin had the button and Guy Laliberté raised to 950,000 from early position. Antonio Esfandiari reraised to 2.3 million from the cutoff seat. Action folded back to Laliberté and he called.

The flop came down     and Laliberté was first up. He checked and Esfandiari bet 2.125 million. Laliberté check-raised all in quite quickly for 17.4 million total.

Laliberté stared straight at Esfandiari while he tanked. At one point, Esfandiari tried to chat up Laliberté, but he didn't seem to respond. Laliberté then reached and put on a blue clown nose as a joke. The two got a laugh and then Esfandiari folded.

Hand #8: The button was on Brian Rast in Seat 2. Bobby Baldwin raised to 1.1 million from under the gun. Everyone folded and he won the pot.

Hand #9: Phil Hellmuth had the button. Action moved to Richard Yong in early position and he raised to 800,000. Brian Rast reraised all in for 8.525 million from the cutoff seat and play folded back to Yong. He quickly gave it up and Rast won the pot.

Hand #10: Antonio Esfandiari started this hand with the button.

David Einhorn raised from early position to 800,000. Esfandiari called and the flop came down    . Einhorn bet 1.2 million and Esfandiari called to see the turn.

The   landed on the turn and Einhorn was first up again. He checked and Esfandiari checked behind.

The   completed the board on the river and Einhorn checked with a visible swallow in his throat. Esfandiari checked behind.

Einhorn mucked his hand right away and due to World Series of Poker rules, Esfandiari had to show. He showed the    and won the pot.

Hand #6: David Einhorn had the button on the start of this hand. From early position, Antonio Esfandiari raised to 950,000. Action folded to Brian Rast in the big blind and he made the call.

The flop came down     and Rast checked. Esfandiari bet 1.225 million and Rast folded.

Hand #7: Guy Laliberté started this hand with the button. Esfandiari raised to 900,000 from under the gun and play folded to David Einhorn in the cutoff seat. He raised all in for 7.525 million. Play folded back to Esfandiari and he made the quick call.

Esfandiari showed the   , but his huge pair was behind the    for Einhorn.

The flop came down     and Esfandiari was still behind Einhorn's aces. The turn brought the   and now Einhorn just needed to dodge a king on the river.

The   fell on fifth street and Einhorn sat back down in his chair to collect his double up.

Hand #2: There was a dead button on this hand. Action folded to Guy Laliberté and he raised to 850,000. From the next seat, Brian Rast reraised all in. He was all in for 11.25 million total. Action folded back to Laliberté and he took only a few seconds before folding his hand. Rast won the pot.

Hand #3: Bobby Baldwin started this hand with the button. Action folded to Sam Trickett in the small blind and he raised to 750,000. Richard Yong called from the big blind and the flop came down    .

On the flop, Trickett checked and Yong bet 400,000. Trickett made the call to see the   land on the turn. Trickett and Yong both checked and the   completed the board on the river. Trickett checked and Yong tossed out an even one million. Trickett took a minute or so and then folded his hand.

Action folded to Phil Hellmuth in the cutoff seat and he raised to 900,000. Esfandiari folded from the button and Bobby Baldwin also folded out of the big blind to give the 12-time bracelet winner the first pot of the day.
