Dan Smith started out a recent hand by making it 53,000 preflop from the button. After the small blind folded action was on Noah Vaillancourt who three-bet to 128,000. Smith then countered by moving all in, and Vaillancourt made the call after a few seconds.

A flop gave Smith a pair of sixes, but they were still second best to Vaillancourt's eights. A on the turn actually gave Vaillancourt a straight flush. There was no card that could come that would save Smith, but a fell on the river none the less.

Noah Vaillancourt opened for 48,000 and Jamie Armstrong made it 125,000 from the button. The blinds released and Vaillancourt called. The flop came and both players checked. The turn came , Vaillancourt checked and Armstrong bet 88,000. Vaillancourt made a sloppy call and the river came . Both players checked and Vaillancourt tabled to take the pot.

We missed the preflop raising but the short story is that Derek Wolters and Jean-Louis Santoni had an all in preflop showdown.

Santoni came from behind right way when a jack spiked on the flop. The board ran and Wolters was eliminated.

Dan Smith started the action by opened to 42,000 and Noah Vaillancourt raised to 93,000 from the cutoff. The blinds released and Smith re-raised to 177,000. Vaillancourt took some time to think and then called.
The flop came , Smith bet 146,000 and Vaillancourt called. But that took quite some time. The turn came which both players eventually checked. The river brought the , Smith checked and Vaillancourt bet 238,000 after an excruciatingly long tank. Smith folded rather quickly compared to the pace of the hand and Vaillancourt chipped up significantly.
All in all the hand took about ten minutes to play out.

We caught up with this hand on the turn between Dan Smith and Jean-Louis Santoni. The board showed and Santoni bet 145,000. Smith called after a bit and the river came .
It took Santoni quite a bit of time to consider his action on the river. So much in fact John Esposito asked, "Is it someone's turn here?"
Santoni finally checked and Smith bet 263,000. Santoni took just a moment to fold.
