John Esposito - 4th place

Action folded around to Jamie Armstrong in the small blind who took a look at John Esposito's stack in the big blind and moved all in. After a minute of silence Esposito convinced himself he had the best of it and made the call.

Unfortunately Esposito was wrong in his assessment and was all in and behind. A     flop appeared Armstrong furthered his lead. A   on the turn and a   on the river sealed the deal and Esposito was sent packing.

Since returning from break we've seen a lot of preflop three-bets and four-bets that are enough to take down the pot. It's just a matter of time before we see some fireworks.

Jamie Armstrong opened for 120,000 and action folded around to Vaillancourt who moved all in for around 900,000. After a few seconds of thinking Armstrong made the call and Vaillancourt was at risk.

A     flop fell out of the deck and it appeared that Vaillancourt was out of lifelines. A   on the turn though disproved that theory and Vaillancourt shot up to the lead. A   on the turn secured Vaillancourt's double up.

Michael Gathy opened for 125,000 and Jamie Armstrong made it 275,000 from the small blind. The flop came      , Armstrong bet 300,000 and Gathy called. The turn came   and both players checked. The river came  , Armstrong bet 450,000 and Gathy folded after a long tank.

Noah Vaillancourt started this hand out by opening for 120,000. Jamie Armstrong on the button called, and Michael Gathy in the big blind also came along for the ride.

A     flop saw Gathy check, and Vaillancourt bet out 190,000. When action was on Armstrong he raised to 450,000. Gathy folded and Vaillancourt took a few moments before making the call.

A   on the turn had Vaillancourt check and Armstrong fire off 575,000. After a few more moments of contemplation Vaillancourt completed the call. A   on the river again lead to a Vaillancourt check, and a bet from Armstrong; this time an all in bet. Vaillancourt took a few minutes off the clock thinking his best possible action. He seemed quite disgruntled and in the end threw his cards away face up,   .

John Esposito

Noah Vaillancourt started the action with an open to 100,000. John Espisto and Michael Gathy called out of the blinds and the flop came      . All three players checked and the turn came  .

Esposito led out with 200,000, Gathy folded and Vaillancourt moved all in for a total of 615,000. Esposito then leaned back in his chair and started to think. And think, and think and think.

A full five minutes passed and Esposito had cut out enough chips to call from his stack but did nothing. He finally released his hand and the action continued.
