Gregory Jamison had just been crippled in the Stud 8 by Abe Mosseri when the latter showed a pair of fives and a 7-6-5-4-2 low to scoop a decent pot. The rest of Jamison's chips went in with preflop against Mosseri's .
The flop was and Jamison made two pair while Mosseri made a vunerable 8-2 low, the turn changed nothing. Jamison needed a five, six or seven to scoop while Mosseri needed an ace, king or jack to counterfeit and make a better two pair for his own scoop. (An eight would give Jamison three quarters).
The river was the , Mosseri made aces and kings and won the entire pot meaning we now have just six players left.
