Action folded to Darren Woods in the small blind and he made the unusual move of just limping. Kim Nguyen was having none of it in the big blind and quickly raised. Woods let out a slight chuckle before making the call and check-calling the flop.
Both players then checked the turn, which was followed by the on the river. Woods led out, Nguyen raised, and her male opponent tank-called. Nguyen flipped over for the flush, which was good enough to take down the pot. Interestingly, Woods and the rest of the table were astonished that Nguyen did not hesitate to raise on the double-paired board.

Gabriel Nassif raised from the cutoff, Alexander Kuzmin re-raised on the button, and Nassif called. The flop fell , and the two players got three bets in a piece. Kuzmin slowed down, opting to just call Nassif's bets on the turn ( ) and the river ( ), and Nassif opened for a set of threes.
"What a pro," Scott Seiver said from the rail. "Look at the way he stacks his chips."
Nassif chuckled, then purposefully knocked his chips over. Seiver and Betrand "ElkY" Grospellier roared with laughter, and Nassif started re-stacking his new chips.

"Why are you so aggressive?" Lyndaker asked him.
"I have the nuts everytime," Woods replied with a grin. "You should try the call thing when I'm in the big blind rather than raising."

We caught the action in this hand on the river with a board reading . Matt Schreiber had bet only to be raised by Andrey Zaichenko. Schreiber, who didn't have much back, eventually made the call with . Zaichenko rolled over for a straight and the winning hand.
"Are you serious?!?" Schreiber vented. "F***ing gut shot!" Obviously he was not too happy, especially since he was left with just 9,000; meanwhile, Zaichenko chipped up to 400,000.
On the very next hand, Zaichenko opened under the gun and Schreiber committed his remaining chips. Samuel Golbuff then reraised from the button and Zaichenko made the call. When the flop came down , Golbuff bet, Zaichenko raised, and Golbuff called.
It then went check-bet-raise-call on the turn, which was followed by the on the river. A bet and call ensured as Golbuff showed , which bested Zaichenko's (X) and Schreiber's . As a result, the latter player was eliminated from the tournament in 11th place for $11,291.

After the dealer had burned and turned the , Stanko bet, Gualtieri called, and the was put out on the river. Again Stanko bet and Gualtieri made the call. Stanko showed for a flopped straight as Gualtieri shook his head and revealed .
The previous hand left Gualtieri with just 14,500, but he was able to double on the very next hand after getting all in preflop against Stanko. Gualtieri held against his opponent's and had the board run out a kind . Although he doubled, Gualtieri is still our short stack.
