After Tyler Bonkowski had built his stack up to 1,700,000 by forcing Brandon Demes to fold on a board, Demes fought back in this hand to take the lead. Bonkowski raised on the button and Demes three-bet from the big blind. Demes led out on the flop and Bonkowski called. Demes bet again when the hit the turn only to get raised by Bonkowski. Demes made the call and check-called another Bonkowski bet on the river. Bonkowski showed for two pair, sixes and fives, but Demes turned over for a higher two pair.

When heads up play started and as we waited for the bracelet, there was maybe only five people on the rail watching. However now that the bracelet is on the table, a rail of around 20 has accumulated including several bustouts from earlier in the day such as Sorel Mizzi and Matthew Suelflow. Thomas Keller, the brother of Shawn Keller, has also stuck around for the heads up battle.

Its hands like this that remind us just how cruel a game poker can me. Andrew Brongo has just been eliminated by Brandon Demes in what can only be called a super-super sick cooler.
Brongo raised from the button, and Demes called from the small blind. The flop came , and Demes bet. Brongo called, and the turn was the . From here, the fireworks set off like the 4th of July. Demes bet, and Brongo raised. Demes reraised, and Brongo put in a fourth bet. Demes called, and the river came the . Demes checked, and Brongo bet. Demes raised, and Brongo reraised. Demes put in yet another bet, and Brongo snatched his chips, looked up to the sky, and capped the betting by calling all in.

Brongo had turned the full house, but Demes rivered a better full house, and Brongo was eliminated in brutal fashion. Brongo handled himself very well, shaking hands with both players, and the floorman before going to collect his six figure payday.

Not long after Shawn Keller doubled up, he has lost two consecutive hands, and has been eliminated. Most of the damage was done in a hand against Andrew Brongo. Keller was in the lead with one pair after pairing his kicker but would have to avoid some outs to survive. The river was the and Keller did in fact double up.

Mitch Schock raised from the hijack and Tyler Bonkowski made it three bets from the small blind. Schock made the call and called Bonkowski's bets on both the flop and turn. On the river, Bonkowski bet once more and Schock raised. Bonkowski made it three bets and Schock made the call. Bonkowski turned over for quads and Schock was crippled down to 5,000, half the size of the small blind.
The very next hand Shock quintupled up to 25,000 however the hand after that would lead to his demise. With Schock in the big blind for 20,000, Bonkowski raised and Schock threw in his last 5,000 as the players showed their hands.

The flop was of no help to Schock and he would need some form of running cards to survive. The on the turn however left him drawing dead and the on the river ended the hand as Schock was eliminated and Bonkowski increased his chip lead.
