In the most action we've seen in quite some time (and it's not much), Albert Minnullin raised under the gun. From the button, Domenico Denotaristefani made it three bets to go, and Minnullin called to see a flop.

It came out      , and Minnullin checked. When Denotaristefani bet, he snuck in a raise, and his opponent called the extra small bet.

The turn came the  , and one more bet from Minnullin was enough to take down the pot.

That's the most exciting thing that's happened in two orbits. We promise. Things have really slowed down in here during this after-dinner level.

Sunday, June 13, 2010 8:25 PM Local Time

Art Parmann raised from the button, Brian Meinders three-bet, Parmann four-bet and Meinders capped it. The flop came     and after another couple of bets, Parmann was all in.

Showdown

Brian Meinders:

Art Paramann:

The turn sealed the double-up for Parmman as the   hit before the meaningless   hit the river.

Parmann is now up to about 420,000

Sunday, June 13, 2010 8:09 PM Local Time

Al Barbieri opened UTG, Brian Meinders called and Dutch Boyd raised from the big blind. Barbieri was effectively all in after another small raise, and both Boyd and Meinders made the call.

The flop was     and Meinders checked, then raised when Dutch Boyd bet. Boyd not only called, he raised again, and Meinders decided to just keep it up with yet another raise. Boyd just called, and the two went to the turn, which was the  .

Meinders bet, Boyd called and when the   hit the river, they did it again with Meinders betting and Boyd calling.

Showdown

Meinders:

Boyd: Mucked

Barbieri:

Meinders is now the big chip leader with about 1,000,000

Sunday, June 13, 2010 8:02 PM Local Time

Domenico Denotaristefani raised from middle position, and Brian Meinders made the smooth call. From the small blind, Al Barbieri three-bet it, and both of his opponents came along with the calls.

The flop came out      , and Barbieri led out with a bet. Meinders was the only caller this time, and it was heads up to the   turn. Barbieri bet again, Meinders raised, and Barbieri called the extra bet.

That brought them to the   river, and Barbieri check-called one last bet. Meinders showed up     for the full house, and that was going to be hard to beat. Barbieri looked frustrated, and he flashed his     as he flung them at the muck.

Sugar Bear is down to just 65,000 sour little chips after that big pot.

We've played four levels of poker, and our final six players are headed off for their one-hour dinner break. Updated chip counts will magically appear in just a moment, and then we're off to stuff some food into our faces as well.

Play will resume just a bit before 9:00 p.m. local time.

Sunday, June 13, 2010 6:49 PM Local Time

Brian Meinders raised under the gun, and Dutch Boyd three-bet it right next door.

Heads up, the flop came out      , and Meinders check-called a Boyd bet. That action repeated on the   turn, and the   filled out the board. Meinders led out with a bet now, and Boyd made the smooth call to see a showdown.

Meinders showed his cards to Boyd, but we couldn't see them, and Boyd nodded and tabled his superior     to earn himself another nice pot.

Boyd - 760,000

Meinders - 540,000

Sunday, June 13, 2010 6:44 PM Local Time

Brian Meinders raised it up from the cut off, and Albert Minnullin made the call from the big blind.

The flop was    , and Minnullin check-raised a Meinders bet, and then decided to try his luck again and check-raised the   turn card as well. Meinders made the call and the players went to the   river card.

No sneaky play here, although we would have loved to see the triple-barrel check-raise, but Minnullin just bet this time. He got a call from Meinders who ended up mucking after he saw Minnullin's   .

Sunday, June 13, 2010 6:39 PM Local Time

We picked up the action as the dealer was spreading out a flop of      . In a battle of the blinds, Albert Minnullin led out with a bet, and Art Parmann raised. The two men went back and forth until it was capped at five bets, and that brought them to the   turn.

Minnullin's bet was flat-called there, and Parmann flat-called one last bet on the   river. Minnullin had the goods; he showed    , and his overpair was good enough to earn him the pot.

He's up to 640,000 now as each big pot swings the momentum in a big way.

Sunday, June 13, 2010 6:35 PM Local Time

Dutch Boyd raised from the button, and Albert Minnullin made the call out of the big blind.

The flop rolled out      , and Minnullin check-raised Boyd's continuation bet. Boyd came right back with a reraise, though, and Minnullin flat-called the extra little bet.

That brought the   on the turn, and Minnullin check-called another bet before the   river. Boyd fired one final bullet, and his opponent tanked and surrendered his cards to the dealer with no showdown needed.

Boyd - 580,000

Minnullin - 430,000

The flop was    , and Meinders check-raised a Boyd bet, and Dutch flat-called.

The turn was the  , and Meinders led out, and this time it was Boyd who stuck in the raise. Meinders called, and the players both checked through the   river.

The flop came      , and Denotaristefani check-called a bet.

On the turn  , Denotaristefani check-raised Boyd to two bets, and Dutch came right back over the top with a reraise. The long-named man called.

That brought them to the   river, and Denotaristefani fired right back out into the pot. Boyd raised, and Denotaristefani tank-folded to that one final bet.

"Disciplined fold," Boyd said with a smirk. We're still working on counting those two players as they tidy up their chips, but suffice it to say that big pot has shaken up the stacks significantly.

Sunday, June 13, 2010 6:16 PM Local Time

Art Parmann raised from the cut-off, and then called the three-bet from Domenico Denotaristefani, who was directly on his left with the button.

The flop was     and Parmann check-called a bet from Denotaristefani, who then checked behind after Parmann checked the   turn card.

The   fell on the river and Parmann led out, only to see a raise from Denotaristefani. Parmann made the call, and then saw his opponent had rivered a set of fours with   .

Parmann mucked.

Sunday, June 13, 2010 6:10 PM Local Time

Domenico Denotaristefani raised from under the gun, and both Brian Meinders and Art Parmann called to see the flop.

It came      , and the first two players checked to Meinders. He laid out a bet, Parmann folded, and Denotaristefani check-raised. Meinders called the extra bet.

That led them heads up to the turn  . Denotaristefani fired a big bet, Meinders raised, and Denotaristefani tank-called.

The river came the  , and Denotaristefani check-called one final bet before Meinders showed him the winner. His     came sliding across the felt, and that set earns him the pot and the chip lead.

It was a blind affair that started with Dutch Boyd making it two bets from the small blind, and Al Barbieri making it three from the big blind. The two saw a     flop, and Boyd check-called a bet from Barbieri.

Al Barbieri raised it up UTG, and got both Brian Meinders and Dutch Boyd to call out of the blinds.

The flop was     and Meinders checked to Boyd, who bet. Barbieri folded, and then Meinders raised, and Boyd re-raised. Meinders made the call and the two saw the   hit on the turn.

Meinders led out, Boyd raised and Meinders made the call.

The river was the   and both players checked. Meinders showed the   , and Boyd mucked his hand. Meinders stacked up about 505,000 after the hand, and Boyd was down to 290,000

Brian Meinders raised to open the pot, and Albert Minnullin made it three bets. Meinders was the lone caller, and the flop came out      . Minnullin bet, and Meinders made the smooth call.

The turn came the  , and Minnullin fired again before Meinders raised to 48,000. His raise was called, and so was his last bet on the   river. At showdown, Meinders tabled     for sevens full, and that was good enough to earn him the pot.

Sunday, June 13, 2010 5:45 PM Local Time

On a     flop, Al Barbieri bet and got raised by Albert Minnullin. Barbieri made the call, and the two went to the turn which dropped the  .
