Flanders Chops to Stay Alive

Timothy Flanders raised leaving himself less than a big bet behind. Nick Guagenti called and the others folded including short-stacked Andrey Zaichenko.

Haavisto Scoops a Double on the Bubble

The turn already showed      and Jake Schwartz check-raised to see Ville Haavisto call all in for a total of 92,000 throughout the hand. They had to wait until all other tables were completed and some table chat emerged.

"I didn't like the turn," the Finn said and Schwartz replied "that's good news for me."

The obligatory "they will chop it anyways" emerged and the cards were then tabled.

Fuchs Eliminated by Bendor; Bubble Time

Carol Fuchs

Several players ran back to their seats just in time to get dealt the first hand of the level and among them was also Carol Fuchs. She got it n preflop out of the small blind against Yarron Bendor on the button and Robert Slezak in the big blind.

Slezak checked the     flop and Bendor bet, Slezak called. After the   turn, Slezak check-folded to a bet and Fuchs immediately said "it's over."

Kelsall's Set is Enough

Ville Haavisto was involved in a hand with Jake Schwartz that saw the latter bet the turn and river of a board      . Haavisto folded to the final bet and dropped into the danger zone.

Andrew Kelsall was down to even less than that when he took on Ken Aldridge. He had 16,000 behind on the       and was glad to take a check from Aldridge in the big blind, who announced two pair.

Zaichenko Doubles Up

Andrey Zaichenko opened from under the gun and Nick Guagenti defended his big blind. The two proceeded to get their stacks in on a     flop with Zaichenko all in for 61,000.

Fuchs Doubles; Gets Quartered After

Carol Fuchs doubled her short stack against Shaun Deeb and ended up all in soon after when they got it in after the      turn.

Deeb rolled over      for top set and Fuchs had     . The   river gave both players the same low and Fuchs was quartered.

After defending out of the blinds, Sam Higgs check-called bets by Andrey Zaichenko on the     flop and   turn. They checked the   on the river and Higgs showed     .

Zaichenko sighed and flashed      before sending his cards into the muck.

Paluf Eliminated by Benyamine

Ryan Paluf opened to 24,000 leaving himself 1,000 behind. David Benyamine just called in the big blind and then put a single 1,000 chip in the middle on the     flop.

Paluf didn't look happy but eventually flicked his last chip in and was all in.

Frankie O'Dell won a bigger pot off Andrew Kelsall and then proceeded to hit the nut low again, but this time David Benyamine escaped and they chopped it up.

O'Dell bet throughout the board       and Benyamine called all streets to get shown the     .

Benyamine tabled his      for an equally strong hand and they chopped it up.

"Look what I had, I can't win. I was fucked on the flop, but then I had queens up and he was fucked," Benyamine remarked to Mike Matusow.

Not long ago, Ken Aldridge scooped a pot against Sam Higgs and he would do again in three-way action that also included Andrey Zaichenko.

Bolden Busts; Matusow Doubles

Gary Bolden was eliminated by Frankie O'Dell, his cards already in the muck, while O'Dell scooped the pot with a rivered ten-high flush.

Shortly after, Mike Matusow ended up all in against Dominik Baud and turned over      for a turned full house and rivered nut low. Dominik Baud tabled      and Matusow scored the full double.

Matthew Schreiber was all in against two players and Chris Amaral bet the river to isolate on the boatd of      .

Amaral turned over      and Schreiber immediately asked "that's your high hand?" He double checked his cards, tabled the     , and asked the rail "what do I get?" His friend on the rail leaned over, checked quickly and replied "you get peanuts, you have to use two cards buddy."
