Minkin's Ace High Is Not Good

Kelly Minkin opened the action with a raise to 1,300. Chiori Gannon made the call and so did the big blind player.

The flop came     and Minkin continued for 2,700 after the small blind checked. Only Gannon made the call.

The turn   and river   were checked and Minkin announced ace-high but mucked as Gannon tabled    for a pair of fives.

Iermolcheva Takes a Small One

In a blind versus blind situation, Olga Iermolcheva completed before calling a raise to 1,500 from the big blind.

    appeared on the flop and Iermolcheva check-called a continuation bet for 3,000. Both players checked on the turn   and the river   and Iermolcheva tabled    for a pair of nines. It was enough to make her opponent fold her cards.

Marquez Chipping Up

On a raised pot, the flop read     when Ana Marquez checked from the big blind and so did her opponent.

The turn brought the   and Marquez bet for 2,200. Her opponent tanked for a minute and called. The river fell a   and Marquez looked at her opponent's stack, which was around 16,000, before deciding to bet 6,700. Her opponent let it go and the pot was sent to Marquez.

No Final Table for Burkhart This Year

Allyn Shulman limped in from under the gun and action folded to Jacqueline Burkhart in the small blind who raised to 2,000. Melody McKee three-bet to 6,000 from the big blind and Shulman quickly folded while Burkhart called.

The flop came    , Burkhart shoved and McKee snap-called.

Dawley on her Way to Rebuy

Sarah Goddard started with a min-raise to 800 under the gun and Jessica Dawley three-bet to 2,300. It folded to Mary Neilan in the small blind who four-bet to 5,200 and Goddard let it go. Dawley quickly pushed all in for 11,500, saying "You can have it all!" and Neilan called to create the following showdown:

Eubanks Shoves on Ho

Vickie Eubanks raised to 1,200 in the hijack and Maria Ho three-bet to 7,500 in the cutoff. The big blind called the 7,500, as did Eubanks.

The flop came    , both the big blind and Eubanks checked. Ho led out for 5,700, the big blind tanked and ended up folding but Eubanks shoved for 30,000. Now it was time for Ho to tank and after a while, she opted to let the hand go.

Arnett Forces a Fold

A player opened to 1,100 and Kristy Arnett called from the small blind, followed by the big blind player. The flop appeared     and the three players checked.

The turn fell a   and Arnett led out for 1,600 and her both opponents called.

On the river  , Arnett and the big blind checked and the third player made a bet for 3,500. Arnett tanked for some time before raising it to 11,000. The big blind folded and the third player considered it for a few minutes before chosing to fold as well.

May Hits Quads

The player in early position raised to 1,200 and was called by the button and Heidi May in the big blind.

The flop came    , both May and the initial raiser checked. The button bet 600 and May responded with a raise to 3,000. The early position folded and the button called.

The turn was the   on which they both checked through for the   to complete the board. May now led out for 10,000 and her opponent quickly folded.

At the same time, Jessica Dawley was telling the table a story about how she collected a lot of chips last year when she hit quads.

"I had quads there, didn't know what to do with them," May said to her opponent.
