William Kakon raised to 160,000 from the button, and Bryce Yockey called from the big blind.

The flop came    , and the rest of the chips went into the middle in a quick flurry of action, with Kakon at risk.

Yockey had the lead with two pair, nines and sixes, and Kakon needed help from the deck in order to preserve his tournament life. The   turn and   river changed nothing, and Yockey took the pot to eliminate Kakon.

Calderaro Sets Up Sammartino

James Calderaro raised to 150,000 from the button, and Dario Sammartino called from the big blind.

The flop came down    , and Sammartino check-called 250,000 from Calderaro. The turn was the  , and both players checked. The river was the  , Sammartino checked, Calderaro bet 300,000, and Sammartino tanked for a while before he called.

Calderaro tabled      for a set of nines , Sammartino mucked, and Calderaro won the pot.

Taylor Forces Out Kozlov

Martin Kozlov raised to 100,000 from under the gun, and Esther Taylor called in the big blind.

On a     flop, Taylor checked, and Kozlov continued for 100,000. Taylor check-raised to 525,000, and Kozlov carefully checked his stack before sending his cards into the muck.

Kozlov and Taylor both started near the bottom of the counts with 20 players remaining and are both up in chips, though Kozlov has plenty of work ahead with just shy of 13 big blinds.

Dan Smith raised to 175,000. Alexey Rybin called in the small blind, and Ben Tollerene came along from the big blind.

The flop came    , and Smith bet 175,000 once the action checked to him. While Rybin folded, Tollerene called, and the   turn was checked through. After the   river, Tollerene bet 300,000 with 1,220,000 behind, and Smith took more than two minutes before releasing his cards into the muck.

Tollerene's Two Pair are Best

Alexey Rubin called from the button, Ben Tollerene called from the small blind, and James Calderaro checked his option.

The flop came     and action checked around.

The turn brought the   and Tollerene checked. Calderaro bet 150,000, Rubin folded, and after a few moments of thought, Tollerene called.

The   fell on the river and both players checked.

Calderaro announced two pair and Tollerene flipped over      for jacks and threes, which was good enough to win the pot. "Bet your own hand, captain, and you'd get called," said Calderaro.

Tollerene Doubles Through Calderaro

Ben Tollerene raised the pot from the cutoff and James Calderaro called on the button. On the     flop, Tollerene continued for 125,000 and Calderaro called.

The   fell on the turn and Tollerene moved all in for his last 435,000, which Calderaro called with the words, "OK, I call," after brief consideration.

Calderaro Takes from Rybin

Alexey Rybin raised to 125,000 from the button and James Calderaro called in the big blind, having just arrived and still stacking his chips.

"Did you look at your cards?" Rybin asked.

Calderaro replied, "No, it's Omaha."

The flop fell     and both players checked. On the   turn, Calderaro bet 200,000 and Rybin called before the   was checked. Calderaro showed      and won the pot.

"That's a big hand, especially in the dark," Dan Smith added.

Dario Sammartino raised to 150,000 the next hand and Rybin called, as did Calderaro in the small blind. On the     flop, all three players checked. Calderaro bet 220,000 on the   turn and just Rybin called. The   river brought no betting action and Calderaro showed      for a set of sevens. "Well done," Rybin admitted and mucked.

Yockey Wins With a Three-Bet

Martin Kozlov opened from the button with a raise to 105,000, William Kakon called from the small blind, and Bryce Yockey announced a pot-sized three-bet to 520,000 from the big blind. Both his opponents folded and Yockey showed    as he dragged in the chips.

"I'm a high-low player, guys," said Yockey with a smile.

Slow Restart After the Break

James Park limped in from the small blind and Dan Smith raised the pot. Park folded.

One hand later, Smith limped the small blind and Dario Sammartino checked in the big blind. On the     flop, Smith checked and called a bet of 75,000 by Sammartino. The   appeared on the turn and Smith checked again. Sammartino made it 165,000 to go and that won the pot.

Dario Sammartino raised the pot to 500,000 in the big blind and both of his opponents called to set up a massive 1.5 million pot to the flop of    . Katz moved all in for 410,000 and Sammartino reraised the pot, forcing out Rybin.

Kozlov Grinds it Up

Hand #1: Martin Kozlov and Bryce Yockey clashed in a pot that saw Yockey check-raise a flop of     for half of Kozlov's stack. Kozlov called and both then checked the   turn and   river. Yockey announced ace-ten and showed   , which Kozlov had beat with     .

Hand #2: Artem Babakhanyan raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Yockey called from the cutoff, as did William Kakon in the big blind. The flop came     and Kakon checked. Babakhanyan continued for 150,000 and Yockey folded. Kakon called. After the   turn, Kakon checked and folded to a bet worth 200,000.

Hand #3: Kozlov raised to 80,000 and Babakhanyan defended the big blind. The     flop and the   turn brought no betting action. On the   river, Babakhanyan checked and Kozlov's bet of 180,000 forced a fold.

With about 350,000 already in the middle on a flop of    , James Calderaro bet 150,000 from the small blind, Felix Bleiker was in the big blind and folded, and Artem Babakhanyan called from the button.
