Connor Drinan Takes One Down
 

Grayson Ramage raised to 85,000 under the gun and was called by Tommy Chen in the small blind and Connor Drinan in the big blind. The flop came     and all three players checked.

The turn was the   and Chen bet out 130,000. Drinan went all in for 285,000, Ramage folded, and after a little while, Chen said "It's close," and folded.

Drinan took down the pot and Chen said he folded queen-jack.

With about 400,000 in the pot on a board reading      , Amit Makhija checked from the big blind, and Dmitry Yurasov bet 280,000.

Makhija thought for a moment and moved all in for 875,000. Yurasov asked for a count and, after weighing his options, he called.

Makhija cringed and tabled    for bottom pair and Yurasov tabled    for two pairs to scoop the pot, sending Makhija to the rail in 12th place.

Kristen Bicknell raised to 90,000 and Albert Daher called on the button. The blinds folded and it was heads up to the     flop. Bicknell bet 80,000 and Daher called.

The turn was the   and both players checked. On the   river, Bicknell bet 175,000 and after a long pause, Daher went all in, putting Bicknell to an all-in decision. She folded and Daher took down the pot.

Metalidi Doubles Up Again, Leaves Drinan Short
 

Connor Drinan raised to 80,000 on the button and Artem Metalidi went all in for 755,000 in the big blind. Drinan called and Metalidi was at risk for the second time at this feature table.

On a board reading      with about 850,000 in the pot already, Xixiang Luo was all in from the big blind for his last 435,000 and got action from Amit Makhija.

Luo was the player at risk and tabled    for trip jacks while Makhija was behind with    for two pairs, aces and jacks.

Makhija needed one of the two remaining aces in the deck, but instead the river was the   and Luo found a double.

Amit Makhija raised to 70,000 from the cutoff and Eric Wasserson put in a three-bet to 240,000 from the small blind. Makhija paused for a moment and called.

Wasserson took his time and eventually fired out a bet of 580,000. Makhija asked for a count and, after a minute, he threw in a pile of chips to call.
