Eventually her opponent called and Kerstetter had him dominated with her against his . The board ran out clean and Kerstetter got the double-up.
Prior to the hand being completed the player who made the comment acknowledged it was wrong and apologized. After the hand was over he apologized again and Kerstetter showed a great deal of class and poise by reassuring him that, "It's totally okay. We have a fun table and been enjoying ourselves and joking around. I know you didn't mean it badly. It's no problem and thank you for apologizing." She also said that, "Unlike others, this is never a time to just go off on someone," adding that she is not that kind of person.
Kerstetter is up to about 9,000 now after collecting that pot.
