Josh Gibson Eliminated in 10th Place

Immediately after Josh Gibson doubles up through Juuso Leppanen, he tangles with Garrett Garvin.

Bruno Borges opens under the gun to 25,000, Garrett Garvin calls in middle position, and Josh Gibson pots for 118,000. Both blinds fold, Borges folds, and Garvin raises to put Gibson to a decision for the rest of his chips. Gibson calls for his remaining 100,000.

Gibson:

"You have me in such bad shape," Gibson says and they go to the flop. 

The board runs out      , and Garvin's kings up are good.

Sam Soverel limps on the button and David Guay makes a pot-sized raise to 48,000. Juuso Leppanen folds in the big blind and Soverel calls.

The flop is    . Guay goes all in for 66,000 and Soverel calls.

The flop comes     and both players check.

The turn is the  , Hench bets 35,000, and Guay folds.

The very next hand, Juuso Leppanen raises to 25,000 from the button, Hench calls from the small blind, and Dan Shak calls from the big blind.

The flop falls    , Hench bets 40,000, and players fold. Hench's stack has grown to over 700,000 chips without a showdown.

Day 2 Chip Leader Garrett Garvin

Garrett Garvin leads the final 12 players into Day 3 of Event #19: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha, with 1,002,000 chips. Garvin is the only player to have surpassed the million-chip mark on Day 2.

The winner of Event #19 will take home $185,317, and all returning players are guaranteed at least a payday of $10,477.

Play will start in Level 21 today, commencing at noon, and will continue until a winner is determined. There will be 15-minute breaks every two hours and a 60-minute dinner break is scheduled after the sixth level of the day.
