Marc Berman
2-7 Triple Draw
A very short-stacked Marc Berman commits his final chips under the gun. Ron Ware calls the remaining chips from the small blind. On the first draw, Ware draws one and Berman two. On the second draw, it's one and two as well, and both players draw one on the final draw.
Ware flips the over, to go with his in the hole. Berman peeks, but pairs up on the river: . Long-time Day 2 chipleader Berman sees his run end here in tenth place, cashing for $10,526.

Matthew Honig
Stud Hi-Lo
Chris Klodnicki - / /
Matthew Honig - / /
Paul Volpe - / - folds
Chris Klodnicki is the bring-in and he elects to open-complete to 12,000. Matthew Honig calls and Paul Volpe also calls.
On fourth street Volpe is first to act and checks. Klodnicki also checks and Honig leads for one bet. Both Volpe and Klodnicki call.
On fifth street Volpe and Klodnicki again check, Honig bets and Volpe folds. Klodnicki calls.
On sixth street Klodnicki is first to act and he check-calls one bet from Honig.
On seventh street Klodnicki checks and Honig bets, leaving 22,000 behind. Klodnicki raises and Honig calls all in.
Klodnicki declares, "Full house."
Honig replies, "Not good enough", showing for eights full of aces. Unfortunately for Honig, Klodnicki's full house was indeed better, as he turns over for nines full of sixes, scooping the pot and sending Honig to the rail only two hands into Day 3.
Chris Klodnicki - 350,000
Matthew Honig - Eliminated in 11th Place for $7,968

Paul Volpe leads the 11 Day 3 returning players
Welcome to WSOP.com's Day 3
coverage of Event #15: $1,500 Eight-Game Mix (6-handed). The starting field of 491
entrants is down to just 11 players, each with hopes of capturing a
coveted WSOP gold bracelet. First place is set at $149,943
and leading the way into Day 3 is Paul Volpe with 586,500. Only 10
players stand between Volpe and a second WSOP bracelet, but these arent just any 10 players.
Gavin Smith and Chris Klodnicki are just two of the players that Volpe will have to battle to get his hands on that bracelet, and they sit with 247,000 and 175,000 chips respectively. Smith began the day yesterday with just 7,600, a little over three big bets, and played his way through the day to sit in the middle of the chasing pack, giving himself a shot at winning his second bracelet, six years after winning his first. Klodnicki, on the other hand, has over $5,000,000 in WSOP tournament winnings, but has yet to win a bracelet. Three times previously the popular pro has finished second, all in mixed game events, and he will be determined to try and finally get over that hurdle and claim his first bracelet.
