Justin Bonomo opens to 70,000 from middle position and the table folds to Max Steinberg, pictured above, who three-bets to 240,000 from the button. The blinds both folds and Bonomo calls to see the flop.
Bonomo then checks the flop and Steinberg continues for 275,000. Bonomo quickly makes the call to see the turn.
The falls and Bonomo checks for a second time. Steinberg, who is playing just over 3,300,000, pushes out another bet, this time sized at 725,000. When Bonomo gets the count he again quickly calls, leaving himself with just over 2,500,000 in front of him.
The completes the board and brings a third check from Bonomo, one that sends Steinberg into the tank for close to two minutes.
Eventually, he announces himself "all-in", with Bonomo quickly asking if Steinberg has him covered. Both players begin to cut down their stacks and the counts are extremely close, with just over a 100,000 chip disparity between stacks, with Steinberg holding a slight advantage.
In the end, Bonomo doesn't choose to risk his tournament life, conceding the pot to Steinberg, who qualified for this $10,000 buy-in event through DraftKings and now looks like he may be the new Main Event chip leader after taking in one of the bigger pots of the tournament.
