Roughly three minutes pass before Waxman reaches into his stack and cuts out enough chips to call. He sets them aside and sits thinking some more. Waxman shifts in his seat until he's sitting on his knees as the seconds continue to tick down on the clock. After about four and a half minutes, he picks up the chips and looks as if he is about to throw them into the middle. He stops though and sets them back down.
"You got like king-nine of hearts?" Waxman asks.
Wasserman remains motionless.
"Is that your hand?" he continues. "King-nine of hearts?"
Waxman sits back in his seat and looks down at his hole cards once again. He picks them up and moves his hand forward a little, as if to fling them toward the muck. He once again stops himself, sets his cards down, and begins riffling the calling chips.
At the nine minute mark, another player at the table calls the clock, giving Waxman 60 seconds to act on his hand before it is declared dead.
"This should be an easy fold for me," Waxman says. "I should just fold. Your hand looks like king-nine of hearts. Maybe king-ten of hearts."
With just six seconds left on his countdown, he flings forward calling chips. Wasserman tables for a full house of queens full of kings. Waxman sends his cards sailing into the muck and Wasserman pulls in the pot.
